Soren was dunked!

Daddy and Soren sporting suits and looking so fresh! lol. Nathan did the baptism and Grandpa Sargent confirmed. We traveled from Vegas to St. George to do it and we are glad we did. As much family as was possible gathered. It was short and sweet and we were the only ones there. It felt special and Soren was happy.

You gotta love the crew that follows us to events like this.. Speaking of, "The Event" is in this photo! ha ha.

Sooooo very gangsta!

Sheri and Nana put on a lunch after the baptism. I didn't have to do one thing. I hardly knew what to do with myself. Not making or bringing or organizing anything. It was so nice to have it all taken care of for me. I love them so much.
Even Hazzy was loving the food!

The Bulb Experiment

Soren just completed his first (of what I suspect will be many) Science Project! I am so super proud of him. I cant believe how awesome he is. He came up with the project all on his own and then his dad and he worked on it feverishly. I have to brag and say that Soren's project was far more original than most of the projects we saw and although he was not allowed to compete for a prize, (you have to at least be in third grade for that) his project rivaled the ones that placed. Admittedly, I helped him with the look and layout of the board but he was the master of the project. His question? Does the glass bulb affect the light bulb? I just love that he wonders about things like that.
He and his dad made a board and set up the light bulbs. One with its glass bulb and one without. then they flipped the switch.

Flash and smoke and the experiment was over.
What Soren discovered was that a light bulb will not work without the bulb. The bulbs are filled with gas that inhibits combustion. He also has a new favorite word. Combustion! He has been thinking of ways to use it in a sentence ever since. ha ha.
I guess all can tell I am a proud Mamma!
